Langston Crump is in trouble. His twenty-first birthday has ushered in a host of problems, including a reoccurring nightmare that he suspects is more than just a figment of his sleeping mind. There is an unexplained attempt on his life right after he meets a stranger who seems to already know him. Forced to confront his adoptive mother, Langston's past is laid out before him.
He discovers that his family is fragmented and scattered, but their light still shines like a beacon. Armed with limited knowledge and a haphazard plan, Langston takes the helm to reunite a group of people who may, or may not, want to be reunited.
