"R Caresse Hightower has crafted a story in which the decision to create life outside of the womb leads to a chain of events in which no one will escape unscathed. This is a story that makes you question the boundaries of right vs. wrong, and I found myself wondering who was calling the shots, what had really happened, and what comes next. Does doing something wrong for the right reasons ever justify the means? It is left to us to decide. Well worth the read!"

"Another great addition to my collection by R. Caresse Hightower. The book was riveting, captivating, and definitely a page turner. I couldn't put it down once I picked it up! I would most assuredly recommend this read, I was sad when the book came to can end, hopefully more will follow."

"I read this book in only a couple of sittings, not just because it's a fairly short read, but because it's a very riveting story. I kept wanting to know what was going to happen! The second half of the book in particular was very compelling. I felt like once we hear more from the wife's point of view, we get more details about the "pregnancy," how the women interact with each other, and the wife's relationship with the housekeeper. The plot kept thickening. Can't wait for the second installment!"
